Perched on the edge of the stunning Argentario peninsula, Villa Romantico is an architectural gem offering unparalleled 180° views of the shimmering Mediterranean. This exclusive two-story retreat, meticulously redesigned by D’Alessandro & Associates and completed in June 2020, seamlessly blends minimalist elegance with warm, inviting details, creating a sanctuary of serenity.

Accommodating up to 12 guests across six beautifully appointed bedrooms, it is perfectly positioned within walking distance of the sea- where you’ll find one of the finest dining experiences in the area. Just a five-minute drive brings you to Porto Santo Stefano, a charming coastal town brimming with lively cafés, boutique shops, and waterfront restaurants.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by a sophisticated yet inviting ambience. The ground floor boasts a grand living area, an intimate sitting room and stylish dining space that extends onto a sun-drenched veranda. Two elegantly designed bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private study equipped with a desk and cosy sofa complete the floor. The exquisite handcrafted ceramic flooring, sourced from the Amalfi Coast, adds a touch of timeless artistry.

Ascend to the second level, where wooden flooring from South Tyrol lends warmth to the space. Here, you’ll find four additional bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a luxurious master suite featuring a king-size bed and a private adjoining room. Every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, ensuring comfort in every season. The villa is also outfitted with state-of-the-art technology, including a Bose surround sound system, Apple TV, and Sky for ultimate entertainment.

For those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, Villa Romantico offers a dedicated wellness area, featuring a fully equipped gym, a fragrant pinewood sauna with panoramic garden views, and a Starpool Turkish bath the same luxury wellness brand found in the world’s finest hotels.

Surrounded by lush Mediterranean gardens, curated by landscape architects Antonella Daroda and Ginevra Conte, the villa’s outdoor spaces invite guests to immerse themselves in nature. Thoughtfully designed nooks provide peaceful retreats throughout the day, offering ever-changing perspectives of sunlight and shade.

The showpiece of the exterior is the magnificent 17m swimming pool, designed not only for relaxation but also for serious swimmers. The water, enriched with a unique blend of magnesium, potassium, and sodium – often called the “salts of life”- soothes the skin and relaxes the body, mirroring the effects of the finest thermal spas. The pool deck, made of solid teak wood with heated flooring, enhances the experience of barefoot luxury.

Whether you’re seeking seaside adventure, luxurious tranquility, or an immersive wellness escape, Villa Romantico is an extraordinary retreat where the sea, design, and comfort converge in perfect harmony.

Monte Argentario is renowned for its rugged coastline, featuring coves and beaches with crystal-clear turquoise waters. These natural wonders are not only breathtaking but also hold significant ecological value, which is why they are part of the Cetacean Sanctuary—a protected marine area of international importance established in 1991.

The promontory is home to two towns: Porto Santo Stefano in the northwest and Porto Ercole, with more ancient origins, in the southeast. Monte Argentario is an almost entirely hilly landmass, connected to the mainland by three narrow strips of land. Its highest peak, Punta Telegrafo, rises to 635 meters above sea level. The landscape is marked by terraced slopes cultivated with vineyards and olive trees, while the only flat area, Terrarossa, lies near the 19th-century dam that supports the road to Orbetello.
