Villa Poesia is a typical Tuscan country home situated in the heart of a poetic Italian landscape surrounded by orchards and olive groves, Italian gardens, and tranquil hills. Fully restored to the highest of standards, it still retains its age-old Tuscan charm with terracotta tiled floors, wood-beamed ceilings, frescos, and several patio areas shaded by rose-covered gazebos. Offering the best of modern comforts in an elegant yet rustic setting, reception rooms include a TV lounge, drawing room, typical Tuscan kitchen, grand dining room, and winter garden conservatory. The cottage offers a kitchen, dining room, and sun lounge. To the front of the villa is a vast lawn with a private swimming pool where to enjoy treasured Tuscan moments in good company.

History

As the Controni estate grew in importance, it became renowned as a wine and olive oil producer shipping to Italian descendants in South America/Argentina. Villa Poesia was added in the early 17th century as a home for the workers of the estate and included a bread oven, stables, grain storage, etc.
