Amalfi Magic Retreat

Just like a precious gem embedded in stone, this property is one unexpected luxurious spot in a tiny village in Amalfi Coast, a true retreat for those who love to be secluded yet close to all the important locations in the surroundings. Precious materials, solariums, a wooden pizza oven and a cooking station on the terrace compose a property that is born to make its guests happy. Massimiliano and his elegant wife have simply chosen the best furnishing, position and materials and mixed them together for fortunate guests, who will be pampered by a fantastic chef and hundreds of little attentions.

The villa is composed by two areas, the main villa and the annex, called limonaia (lemon house); the first features three double bedrooms with king size beds each with private bathroom, one with a stunning private sun terrace and solarium boasting a breath-taking panoramic view, all of them offering sea view. The limonaia offers a double bedroomed suite for 4 people with private bathroom, making this villa perfect for families.

The property overlooks a garden with ancient olive trees and a unique view of the sea, together with a sea-salt infinity swimming pool which is one of the ten best of the entire Amalfi Coast. The garden surrounding the villa is spread across several terraces facing the sea and it’s planted with old olive trees and maritime pines. Santa Elia Terrace is characterized by aromatic plants useful for cooking, a lemon tree lies on Santo Iaco Terrace, while Santa Barbara Terrace boasts a fantastic swimming pool with infinity edge, surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation. The organic garden is located on the Santa Caterina’s terrace.

The property is reached through 80 stairs and it’s not suitable for people with restricted mobility. A porter is available on arrival and departure to help with luggage.

The Amalfi Coast is an ensemble of blue sea, Mediterranean marquis and lemons spreading off terraces, blending with the typical local architecture, typically Mediterranean. It is made of picturesque interlacing of alleys and stairways overlooking the sea, reflecting the enchanting landscape of Amalfi, the town whose name blesses the entire coast. The Amalfi Coast is bordered by Positano (west) and from Vietri sul Mare (east). Positano is a true paradise, developed vertically within a tangled overlay of streets, alleys and shops. Ravello, the most refined village of the ensemble, is dipped in green and characterised by prestigious homes. Minori is a delightful seaside resort that links together the fascination of landscape and sea to the cultural array centred on the archaeological complex of the Villa Romana (Roman Villa). Praiano, on the other hand, is an ancient and tranquil fishing village that offers visitors a very suggestive naturalistic landscape, as well as a rich artisan variety linked to the traditional silk spinning and manufacturing. Ancient trades passed down over the centuries, such as that of the artistic ceramic manufacturing of Vietri Sul Mare, all decorated with the wonderful colours of local products. Visits to the following are an absolute must: Scala, Maiori, Cetara, Conca dei Marini, Corsara, Tramonti and Santo Egidio del Monte Albino, natural beauties and precious historical testimonies in themselves.
